Naturalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Justin Mistikawy has always been interested in the world around him, both old and new. His eclectic musical tastes are reflected in his creative lyricism and expressive instrumentation. Justin is the lead vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, and mandolinist in Box of Rocks, one of Laramie's most exciting and upbeat acoustic acts. He also plays bass in the Gem City Drifters, one of Wyoming's premier jam bands. He is also featured as the mandolinist in Sage Brush String Band, a new old-time band. His musical roots are heavily steeped in blues, bluegrass, country, folk, and rock and his heartful writing shine through each of his performances.
